For SSDI representation and intake firms

Score every SSDI lead against the 5-step evaluation before your team touches it

Zicron runs inbound leads and medical records through the SSA's five-step sequential evaluation with rule-based scoring: the same inputs always produce the same score, and every step shows its reasoning and cites the source page.

The pilot

$2,500 for 30 days

Includes up to 500 leads scored and a medical-record review on up to 25 cases you choose. That covers setup of the upload or API connection, a scored export of every lead, and a day-30 review where we put our scores next to your reviewers' calls and walk through every disagreement. There's one fixed fee, with no seat licenses and no auto-renewal.

If the pilot earns a place in your workflow, we agree on per-lead production pricing together at the end of it, based on your volume.

What it does

Five-step scoring
Each lead is evaluated against substantial gainful activity, severity, the Blue Book listings, past relevant work, and adjustment to other work, including the medical-vocational grid rules. The result shows which steps pass, which fail, and which can't be decided yet.
Rule-based, repeatable
A language model reads the records and pulls out facts such as diagnoses, dates and work history. The scoring is plain rule-based code that implements the SSA sequence. The model never decides the score, and the same inputs always produce the same result.
Cited to the page
When records are attached, every finding links back to the document and page it came from, so a reviewer can check it in seconds instead of re-reading the file.
Evidence gaps
Each score lists what's missing that would change the outcome, such as no treating-source opinion or no imaging for a claimed spine condition, so intake can request it on the first call.
SSA form prefill
Drafts of SSA-3368, SSA-3369 and SSA-3373 are filled from the file for your staff to review and correct. There's no retyping, but a person still signs off.
Web intake agent
A guided claimant intake that collects onset date, work history, education and treatment, and scores as the answers come in. It can run under your firm's name.
Bulk API and webhooks
Push up to 500 leads per request. Scores come back through HMAC-signed webhooks or a single CSV export keyed to your own lead IDs.

How the 30 days run

  1. Week 1. We sign a BAA and set up your private workspace. You send a first batch of leads by CSV or API, and records for the cases you want reviewed in depth.
  2. Weeks 2 to 3. New leads are scored as they arrive. Your team uses the scores as a triage signal alongside its normal process. Nothing is auto-rejected.
  3. Week 4. We compare our scores with your reviewers' decisions on the same leads and write up the agreement, the disagreements and the time saved. You keep the full scored export.

What we don't claim

Zicron is an early-stage company. We haven't published accuracy figures on real SSDI caseloads yet. Measuring that against your own reviewers is the point of the pilot, and you get the raw comparison, not a summary we chose.

A score is a triage signal for your team. It is not a prediction of what SSA will decide and it is not legal advice. Your representatives make every call.

Security

We sign a Business Associate Agreement before any records change hands. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and claim fields are also encrypted inside the application. Each firm is isolated at the database level with row-level security, every access to health information is audit-logged, and accounts support multi-factor sign-in. Everything is hosted in the US on Google Cloud. We have not completed a SOC 2 audit. Our written security controls are available for your review, and we'll complete your vendor questionnaire.

Request a pilot

Tell us about your intake volume. Shain (the founder) replies personally, usually the same business day.

Please don't include claimant names or medical details here. Records are only exchanged after a BAA is signed, through a secure workspace.
